AcceleratorOnline Testimonials:
Dear Rich,
I just wanted to share with you how much I have enjoyed the Accelerator Online Business Course. The literature, reference material and assignments really helped me gain a better understanding of how to write a successful business plan and more importantly implement it. I had absolutely no experience in writing business plans and at first felt I was in way over my head. The structured process you took the class through was exactly what I needed to move forward with my business idea. I would like to thank you and the staff at Fresno State for designing such a wonderful program that allows working individuals to participate in such a rewarding and beneficial program. I believe that you helped with the creation of many new businesses in this class.
I have recommended this course to several friends who are looking forward to enrolling in October.
Sincerely,
Shari Green

Rich - Wanted to let you know how the Accelerator class has helped me in forming my business. Though I had already made a draft of a business plan using the guideline from SBDC, the course helped me make a much more complete and professional plan. The assignments forced me to treat in detail sections of the plan that I had not thoroughly thought-out before. In summary, I believe the chances of success for my business have been greatly improved by the knowledge gained and discipline enforced through the Accelerator On-line course.
I would also add that the internet nature made it easier for me to complete this work as I have been gearing-up my business during the day and doing the homework at night. I was also able to keep things going through a business trip and two weeks "lost" when my Mother died and I had to take care of her estate - all things I was able to do and keep things moving because of the internet approach.
I was unemployed before the course when my previous employer declared bankruptcy - and I had never been in this position - and hated it. With a business plan complete while getting my business going, I am working and off unemployment - a good deal for me and a worthy investment of course funds by the State!
Thanks again for your coaching and encouragement,

The Accelerator Online course stopped me from dragging my feet and just
daydreaming about starting a business and made me look into the important
details that go into actually pulling it off. It made me take a hard look at
my cash flow situation to give me a clear sense of the financial viability of
some of my business ideas and alerted me to the legal implications involved.
I would recommend the course to anyone who wants to start their own
business. It could save that person a lot of time and trouble and money and
could be the key factor in getting their idea out of their head and into the
marketplace. However, the course is only as good as its instructor, even
though it is essentially an online program. The face-to-face meetings were
extremely important in terms of providing a sense of community and
continuity, and our instructor, Rich Mostert, provided a wealth of
information that was not included in the online text.
